The Emmy Gift Guide

Ok so this is mainly a guide to what we want for Christmas, I hope you are listening husbands and boyfriends! If you agree with us maybe point your other half in the direction of this guide as well...

Mmmm shoes, obviously we love them quite a lot. Another thing we love here at Emmy is tea cups, and this little beauty featuring Miss Blackbirdy's delicate illustrations is stunning, and available from Liberty London.

Of all the Emmy girls, I am the lipstick queen and am rarely to be seen without a very vibrant pout! One of my all time favourite is this jewel toned fuchsia from Nars, matt without being drying, bright but easy to put on and lasts all day, I only have a tiny bit left so...

Funny Face by Nars please! I totally recommend to any lipstick virgins out there wanting to give brights a go. Another of our favourite Christmas presents to receive is a really nice diary, you will use it a lot so one that is a pleasure to look at is huge bonus, we love this decadent leather and enamel beauty from Smythson -

Also socks! This may sound a bit boring but when the socks in question are Wolford Velvet de Luxe - absolutely hands down the best opaque tights out there - and are in a gorgeous berry colour, how could any girl resist? (Also available from Tallulah)

Finally these Diptyque candles are stunning, just looking at them makes us think of Christmassy smells.

Labour of Love

Emmy's friend Sophie tied the knot this summer to her wonderful man on a bright sunny summers day. We all crowded around the computer to look through all her beautiful photos, and coo with excitement.  Sophie had a really hands on wedding and made pretty much everything for there big day including her dress (slight skill envy there). To complete her amazing look she wore a pair of our beautiful Leila shoes in gold and watermelon!!

We had such a wonderful time at Zoe Lem's Vintage Wedding Fair! How brilliant to have so many lovely people under one roof with lots of amazing wedding stories and ideas to share, Emmy heaven!

Pippa's Book Launch

We are seriously impressed with Pippa writing her own book! She looked absolutely fab wearing our Matilda shoes in black from our Bespoke Collection at the launch last night. We also spotted Carole looking elegant in our Poppy courts with our matching clutch.

Sassi Holford Event

It wasn't just the canapes we all drawled over at the amazing Sassi Holford event, the dresses were just out of this world!!

As we were all eyeing up all the spectacular gowns, it did pop into my head ('m sure I wasn't the only one) that maybe I could do renewal of the vows soon. . . . . . . wear another white dress and ridiculously amazing Emmy shoes that you would not get away with on just a night out or birthday. Shall I ask my husband of two months, or should I just buy the shoes and take in from there?
